The name Menscorpore comes from a line of verse written by the Latin poet Juvenal. “Mens sana in corpore sano” means, literally, a healthy mind in a healthy body. By understanding the indelible interdependence between the physical self and the psycho-emotional one, we interpret human health as a dynamic equilibrium. Since its creation in 2014, Menscorpore has offered a variety of different programs targeting physical-emotional and social-relational well-being. The organization is headquartered in Treviglio, east of Milan, our family’s home.

Summit Yoga

These Experiences are centered on vinyasa yoga sessions that take place in environments that increase participants’ awareness of the continuity among yoga, space, and time.

Weather permitting, Summit Yoga programs take place at the top of one of the famed Langhe hills, or among the vines and wooded areas that are typical of the Langhe and Roero regions. During winter or rainy seasons, the sessions are held in more protected settings that nonetheless evoke a strong connection and sense of immersion within the territory.

In either case, the natural environment and our mindful guidance help individuals integrate the wholeness of the experience. They gain an acute consciousness of their bodies, their deep and regenerative breathing, and the spectacular surrounding landscape.

The sessions generally take place in the morning, just after dawn, or in the evening, close to sunset. We think these are the most glorious times of day to practice. Morning sessions are followed by a breakfast made from seasonal, organic ingredients, sourced from the local food artisans with whom we work. Food preferences, including intolerances and allergies, can be accommodated.

Summit Yoga Experiences are open to both new and more experienced practitioners. The practice can last from one to two hours.

Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.
